Who cares if it looks funny?
You'll know he meant you, BB, and that's all that's important. Maybe you'll get an autographed copy ;)
Damon -
That's fantastic news. Even if it doesn't go through this time, you're making great connections for next time. And if it *does* go through, then send us the ISBN - some of us will buy it for sure.
As for the lottery numbers - I just need a quarter of a million dollars. You can keep the rest. *laugh*

I Know, BB...
...and I've been round this loop before. It may be mad, but I just feel good about this one!
Fair point about taking the ideas through. And we'll think of something for your name!
Have a good day!

Hey, the name Beachbelle will look a bit funny in the acknowledgements!
I was going to say too that you should keep the ideas we discussed not just going through the submission but the whole book.
I applaud your optimism but on the other hand if it doesn't work out which it might well no do, then it is no disgrace. I know heaps of people submitting book ideas and it rarely comes off first go.
Of course I could always send you my fees schedule and add you to the list of blogger's books I am casting an editor's eye over. But the fees reflect that such work keeps me from my own aspirations.

DamonLeigh: Sounds exciting
All sounds good for you; fingers crossed on the book thing.
As for lottery numbers, I dreamt mine in 1994 and have been using those numbers ever since; I think I've won a total of fifty quid in the last ten years, from an investment of £500+!
Oh, and the EuroMillions actually started last Friday, and my numbers didn't net me a frigging thing then, either!
