The smell in the hay barn, and that of the hash we mixed for the pigs trough.

I feel nostalgic from being a little kid, watching Bob Barker on The Price is Right with my mother.

I almost included Noxema but it was getting to be too long of a comment, for Mother used that also. The hand-lotion, I don't know that one off-hand. Uh, no pun intended. The Old Spice, it was our Daddy's scent then.

Re: RPresta,
The eucalyptus scent of Noxema, the cherry/almond scent of... the name is escaping me... the hand lotion. My dad also used Old Spice!

Okay, this is too much! For some reason today, old products my mom used came to mind; specifically, Hexol. She would mop the floors with it. It had a nurse on the bottle, and I, being a kid, thought if it was good enough to clean a hospital it would make our house clean, too.
I miss my g-uncle's fritattas; my mom's scent of Pond's face cream and scent of her compact; her Paquin hand cream; even my dad's awful Old Spice after-shave, almost miss that. lol. The way his hair would pop up in the mornings and we'd all laugh at it. I could write an entire book on things that are missed. The sound of Daddy's laugh, and Mama's jokes. The giggling of us three little kids, and later the feel of my little girls snuggling up to me while I read to them.
