Re: Anib to GM.

Firstly, glad to see you after ages. Was worried what happened after you went to Bangkok. Secondly, my sympathies with your troubles, but now do write on. How's your mom doing?

I didn't mean mosquitoes in their literal sense. It was just the right tool to explain away in a humorous satirical way the hypocrisy of man. I thoght of either the example of a fly or a mosquito that could fly overhead and see the walking bobbing bald pate. Ostensibly the man was walking to meet the 'peace and calm' (connecting strait) of the Pacific, when instead the moment he was bitten by the 'innocuous' sting, he flew into an uncontrollable rage, throwing obscenities at the li'l insect, wanting to decimate all its kind saying that you varmints, despicable creatures, how glad I'd have been to kill your kins. Insted he landed a loud crack on his 'grassless patch'! hurting himself the more. Topping it by remarks that we ... are religionists who, in the name of religion, become terrorists, arsonists etc, etc. How did your discerning eyes miss that. Were you wearing ? Cheers.

Anib

I am sorry I have been away so long..... I have been having my own problems..... but when I check it here, I find a blog by you,  being sympathetic to..... what, I still cannot believe it,  MOSQUITOES??????

I know I have been away for too long, and without my somewhat rational critiques, it seems that you have gone upon a tangent that is ummm,  perhaps a bit questionable in its direction and content.

Mosquitoes are perhaps the most evil creatures in the universe.... They are sinister parasites, but the diseases they can give us are life-destroying.  I just saw a man on the news who got bit by a mosquito with West Nile Virus,  and that man lost his memory.  He had to go through a lot of therapy, to remember how to read and write!!!  This is a complete condemnation of the evil mosquitos.  They survive only by sucking the life-giveing blood out of the rest of the creatures in the universe, and giving us deadly diseases.  I fight them every day.  I spray repellants upon my body and my clothes, when I am working in the outdoors,  which is almost every day.

So,  my old friend,  how can you redeem yourself from you post about the Golden Gate Experience, (which I know was sublime in itself, and deserves praise for that),  when the horrible alien  monstrous creatures you promote are the source of my misery, in my day-to-day work efforts??

Re: Kabu

It was also a contrast between man's hypocrisy who, in the garb of 'pacific' ecstasy, was driven into abuse, something natural for any small creature, that taught the gent from Kent.

Re: Corbin

Yes, so it was. We walked about 2 miles + another 2, and every bit of it was fun. That's how the whole thing got inspired. Thank you.

Very cleverly written and a fun read for us. Thank you. And glad you enjoyed that SF weather! Too old for me, though.
