Yes, it’s a shame about the weather not being better for your visit here. Which city did you like the best in this trip?

Travelled and visited all the exotic places that be (almost, so to say) in inhospitable weather, incessant rains. Though I love and my spirits soar when the things are topsy-turvy ... Ha ha ,

oh, boy! I see now! You are in Chicago again - not New York. You have traversed this country from sea to sea and have done a lot of traveling. So glad you liked it. But it can be tiring.  

I was taught that when referring to people it is correct to say “who” and when referring to objects and animals (sorry about pets, I may disagree) lol, then one says “that.” Glad to see it’s not a hard and fast rule.

One can say 'correct' both ways. Depends. Back in Chicago after visiting California and New York. What lovely places, both.
