Perhaps you should try for more carer assistance. Try not to get too low, hopefully it will soon become warmer for you. It is nice to know the your perennials made it. I think the Jackdaws here are used to people, they just give me a look and carry on. Take caree.

I have a bird that has built a nest at a rainspout. It's really cool seeing the bird take care of its young.

Do take care of yourself, dear. I'm glad that there are nice birdies and flowers and that Wilely is doing as well as possible right now. I hope you feel better soon. I know you must be exhausted.

When I see daffodils growing wild, I think of DOCTOR ZHIVAGO, the first movie version, and hear balalaikas playing Lara's Theme...
So glad to hear that Wiley is better, and that you are getting some help and rest.

Good timing: Wiley gets a bit more mobil just as you get worn down...
Your story about the little wren reminded me - I've been using scrap ends of yarn to crochet little bird nests. Planning to offer them to a wildlife rescue place in case they know someone who will use them in their bird houses. Nice to read the daffodils are out and the temps are improving. We all need some bright weather.
