I am sorry to hear of Wiley's brother passing, and of your cold weather. Spring is bound to appear someday. Hopefully, soon. I'm glad you are Wiley and Mr. G. are all safe inside right now. Yes, I'm sure it would make a great story, Wiley's family, I mean.

Oh what a tale to tell. I feel like I am reading about family since I read the book that Wiley's Dad wrote and that Wiley had published. I'm having mind flashes of of the days when Wiley and his sisters and brothers were sliding out the second story window when the winter snows came that high on Anticosti Island. So sorry the family is getting smaller. There are only three out of seven left in ours with me the eldest of the three and the other two quite a bit younger. Please give Wiley my love and sympathy and support.

So many of the greatest generation are going to their reward, all those
brave defenders who fought during WWII. I see a couple of them at the senior center each week - still making it with their walkers to hang out with their friends and play cards or bingo. Doesn't seem like a big deal to be volunteering at the center until we think about the heroes we're privileged to know. So glad to read about your cozy day together with your sweetheart hero.

Well it is good to know that a little happiness is around. It was a good age for Wiley's brother. One thing our lad is probably immune to some things that normally would be painful.Small consolation I know , but for his sake a good thing. Your perennials will be pushing up soon at least we have better weather to look forward to. Take care .
