Re: Re: Re: mneme

Well if one is diligent one can see them open their mouths and bite into the cooked lettuce. I expect they have hard gums. i cannot honestly remember which poem was posted but thank you.

Re: Frogs sing. They sing loudly and not necessarily in harmony.

Pat I hope your frog romance is not spoiled by herons. Ponds are covered here they prefer gold fish.

Frogs sing. They sing loudly and not necessarily in harmony.

The good thing about them is they eat mosquito larvae in the pond, so we don't have to worry so much about West Nile virus and other nasty mosquito-borne illness. Last year I had some work done on the pump that coincided with froggie love season, and there were no tadpoles to speak of, but this year, based on last week's raucous chorus, I expect there'll be a bumper crop. Unless the blue herons spot them while in flight.

A simple pond, in the spring, brings new life, and joy to something or someone.

Re: FS

Well FS . I like the frogs because they eat slugs . Those that turn into a Prince I save for lonely ladies.

I like the idea of the small tadpole pond. I find it fascinating to watch tadpoles turn into frogs...It is all about the beauty within.

Glad you are enjoying the pond. My mom taught us from childhood that beauty is within.

What kind of fishing pole does one use to catch a tadpole?
