April seems to be a good month for birthdays. Yesterday I took a good friend of mine to lunch in Winchester, the day before her birthday. I'd forgotten how many years older than me she is, couldn't remember if it was one or two years.. turns out it is eighteen months. She is 69 today; next year is another big one.. .which means that, in eighteen months, I shall be 70 too - how on earth is that possible? I still remember being a schoolgirl!

I've been through Easter (my mother mentioned a month before), my birthday, and most sadly Christmas ( I aimed at all year) with a despondent mother for two years.

Happy Birthday. My Mom and Dad's birthdays were one day apart. Mom's was Feb. 27th and Dads was on the 28th. Hope you had a good day.
