My mind tends to flow as well. When I was in math and science classes, the daydreaming would be constant.

Pat - It's fun to see the shapes take on meaning.
We are hard-wired to do that, say the experts. I've always imagined what shapes I could see in everything from clouds to tiles, my entire life! Here's the name for it, as Ciel mentioned: Apophenia - the spontaneous perception of connections and meaningfulness of unrelated phenomena. ... Pareidolia (falls under the umbrella of apophenia) is a type of illusion or misperception involving a vague or obscure stimulus being perceived as something clear and distinct.

There is actually a word for that tendancy to see pictures in random arrangements of the world--like seeing Jesus on toast, or animals in clouds--or dinosaurs in trees...
And they do seem fairly certain now that even tough characters like T-Rex had feathers, but I am betting they were awful, scraggy feathers, not the nice soft ones on chickens and parrots and ostriches. Wouldn't that be funny, though, if they had those big ostrich-plumes? T-Rex looking like an Edwardian chapeau!
