Well I am glad that you can still laugh . I guess one can get used to anything in time.
You do need a wheeled chair, I don't know how you manage the stairs. I hope you receive, just put a star on my blog if you do please.

Tell Wiley that TAPS really likes peanutbutter toast for breakfast, especially if it is made with 12-grain bread and a few chia seeds sprinkled in besides and sometimes little slices of banana layered in. It makes a good breakfast.

I know you're worried about the possible need to get Wiley situated
in a home, and you're very wise to keep him in your tender care for as long as possible. A chair with wheels might be just the thing to make it do-able. I think in this area they can be rented - maybe they'll do so in Canada, too.
BTW, my friends Carl and Rosie came to The Center this a.m., he's up and walking and able to talk - looks a bit swollen on one side of his jaw, and there's bandages over his trachea where the breathing tube was, but they're in great spirits and send their thanks to you for your prayers. I was thrilled to see them this morning!
