It's normal to have fear with something like they are facing. I wish them successful healing and victory of a sort. It's very serious. As time goes by, I think we all gain an appreciation for life and for those who are in our lives, though many people already possess that appreciation.

I used to work with geriatrics in several different fun ways that now are only memories, but fun memories. Now, as far as I know, all but one or two have gone away to that better place. I'd like now to write but most of the time my mind seems to be frozen in place like the trees outside my windows. Perhaps spring will come and my thinking bud again with a little new life.

Two people who are probably both terrified, but are being brave about it. We worry when there are good times.
