There is a feature on cellphones that will text the caller/texter back if the receiver of the contacting is on the road. It's a great idea.

I don't know about an app, but aren't many cars now equipped to go directly to speaker? I hate seeing someone on the phone while driving. THey do it all the time, and it's not legal here.

21 percent of teen drivers involved in fatal accidents were distracted by their cell phones. Teen drivers are 4x more likely than adults to get into car crashes or near-crashes when talking or texting on a cell phone.

I think the phones should have a controlling app that won't allow talking on the phone while the car motor is running....
