Fireworks are fun to watch, you should have gone out to see them. I remember as a boy, and fireworks were actually legal everywhere, I would find a fire ant mound in the yard, and pay them back a bit for biting me. I pushed a firecracker into their mound and lit it.... it made such a fine crater in their mound, and they came swarming out. I quickly pushed another firecracker into the mound, and they swarmed it, and it launched them on a ride to remember, if they were not fried....... LOL

I think you may have been misled, this one was the size of a child, she did admit they had done naughty little things at times, but said how anyone could imagine that they sat on mushrooms, she thought it might just have been wishful thinking. I don't know if I'll see her again, and see (she) is my imagination as I don't think sex is involved . I was so taken aback, but no one will believe me so, I might just keep further revelations to myself. As she did say 'Keep flaking.' P.S .I must call them Flakers.

Thank you Pat. At least fireworks are too expensive to be too popular. I don't think they are affected by the weather as the seem to be in a different dimension, of course we only see the one we were born to. Happy New year.

Fireworks aren't allowed to be shot off by regular folks, but they ignore it. Thankfully, my fan drowns out the neighbors.

Happy Birthday, then? What a terribly sad story about the "gift." I'm sorry that happened to you.
You are lucky it was just fireworks. We've had neighbors who enjoyed drinking and then shooting off guns into the air. Not a good combo. There was too much wind here for fireworks close by. Fortunately. No more fires. Happy New Year!

Our New Year's Eve rain dried up about 1:00 in the afternoon, so
there were some out at midnight shooting off fireworks. You're right, big nuisance, but I don't like firecrackers anyway, and shooting a gun into the air is nothing but dangerous... I like your theory about fairies. I believe there are some living in this neck of the woods. Have a happy 2019.
