Amazing that the general public can now buy equipment that is capable of this type of long-range shooting. Before the days of laser range-finders and computerized scopes, I had a crude optical range finder that enabled me to shoot a deer at 700 yards from a sitting position, with a Browning .300 Winchester Magnum rifle. I now have much better equipment, and I hope to make a shot like this one, if the opportunity should arise.
I was out of touch for a while, what with holidays and travelling to Thailand, and my Blogit subscription ran out. I have just renewed it, so I guess I will be around to irritate people another year, LOL! Cheers
