IF you have not got one I would get try to get a hand rail fixed for use with the stairs. Of course you may already have this. I through a few cake odds and ends onto the store roof.Seagulls were there in minutes. Archie said one is not supposed to feed them, but they clear a up a lot of waste.

It is very cold here tonight, too, expected to be down around 6F. We who have heating and warm beds are so fortunate! Warmest wishes to you and Wiley and Graysome!

This time of year it's not so bad to be tucked in and cozy - but I imagine
by the end of March you'll be eager to get out in the garden again. I hope Wiley's feeling up to getting outdoors a bit by then. Keeping fingers crossed.

It is so bucolic there. Those who love city life probably wouldn't like being there. But, it all sounds perfect to me, except for Wiley's needs. But you really have a handle on how to that care of things.
