Well always remember Taps sometimes it is just nature ,we all slow down a bit and you have always been active. Someone who has always just sat around might think that you are stll in the race.

Thanks for that real story of life, told so well and true by you. You tell such good stories, you remind me of my mother, who has keen powers of observation, even at the age of 92.
This dear lady Jan, who died sitting in front of her computer, passed from this world while she was doing something that she enjoyed, without much pain, without being rushed to a hospital to pointlessly prolong her life. To me, she died "with her boots on", as the old saying goes, meaning to die while still doing something worthwhile. And I am sure that she is doing things even more worthwhile, wherever she is now. And you, dear lady, are still doing great things here and now. Cheers

I have heard from an EMT friend that the bathroom is the most common location. And agreed, avoiding the topic does no one any favors. We should do what we can to make that Grim Reaper cheer up!

I'm sorry to hear of her passing. I would imagine you are thinking a lot, even when staring out the window. Besides, it's nice to look outside.
