That is a great story and a great concept about seeds.  Philosophies are like seeds, seeds of constructions of human (and divine) thought.  Once planted in our minds, and accepted by us, a philosophy will grow into a garden of works, but the flowers and fruits can be nourishing or poisonous.  They can be soft and fragrant, or they can be hard with sharp thorns, stickers and spines.  Philosophies are also the seeds of religions, which can become very good or very evil.  I would be happy to receive some seeds from God, in that store in heaven.  They would be very potent in their potential goodness.  Cheers

I too endorse unconditional love, but only to a certain point or level.  I can and do love people who have flaws or faults  (for who doesn't have them?).  But I cannot or will not love a person who attacks me constantly, or attacks other people constantly.  They need restraining or countering action from us, not love.  But if the restraining or countering action is justified, then it too is a form of love..... if not for the attacker, then for his victims.

An underlying principle of my philosophy is that there are limits to everything, and it behooves us to discover those limits, understand them,  and work within them. But this is difficult, because everything exists on a spectrum, like the electromagnetic spectrum, like light, which gives us the incredible rainbow of colors.  So too morality exists on a spectrum.

So at the same time, we must try to learn the full extent of the spectrum, and also learn where is the divide, the limit between good and evil, right and wrong.  Also, as Aristotle taught, any good virtue can be taken too far, to a point where it loses its quality of goodness.  He taught us to seek the Golden Mean, and that is indeed what I try to do.

you do write most convincing arguments. Thank you. Food for me to digest. I do believe in Unconditional love though. Perhaps for me it is a woman, Mother grandmother thing. I may never be able to have an earthly relationship with my second son again but I love him Unconditionally; meaning whether he cares for me or not, whether he dances in glee on the day of my death, my spirit will rejoice in his existence and his many wonderful qualities.

This is fantastic GM!

A very convincing and well articulated viewpoint you have presented, the RA philosophy's dangers and the need for us to be aware, to be conscious, is a timely message. An anecdote I am reminded of I read somewhere. A boy was waliking along the roads of heaven and saw a shop owned by god. The boy asked, "what do you sell here?" God said , "there isn't anything here that you need and I don't sell. Just ask for it". The boy asked for fruits and flowers. God said, "I don't have fruits or flowers but I sell only seeds", adding, that "in itself the seeds are neither good nor bad, it depends on how you use them". I found it profound. Here RA is selling seeds. Those who are whisked away by his teachings are sure to sow seeds that will one day grow into trees and its fruits and flowers will be poisonous. And there will be those who will catch RA's evil designs and shun his teachings. Your article justifiably therefore, urges people to remain careful and be alert, not to be swayed or carried away by his alluring logic, no matter how very appealing these may sound.
