I know people who have had it done and are very happy about it! As you say, after all your dad has been through, this is a piece of cake.

I've had cataracts removed from both eyes, and it was but a minor inconvenience. The one thing I remember most was the brightness of colors after everything had healed. Oh my! The whites were so bright, it was almost shocking and the reds! Almost like you have never seen these colors before, it was breathtaking to me. I wish him the best.

I think it is probably the waiting for the right time to have the op. Dad is a not a nervous type by all accounts. My B.I.L Has to have injections in his eye every so often ,I think that is more stressful. somehow.

"Piece of cake!" I had my right eye done on the 18th of Nov. and

will be getting the left one on the 7th of Jan. I'm SO looking forward to not wearing glasses, except perhaps readers for close up, and sunglasses to drive. I was nervous, the intake clerk told me it only takes 8 minutes. Hope your dad's procedure is easy and successful.
