Thank you bro for reading and the fine comments you naturally make. Here, I must tell you that the One I meant was not in the sense of becoming one with others, that include all sorts of people, good or bad. It weas in the sense of one's evolutionary process. We have two selves : the self and the Self. self is what we are right now, not really abased but the 'base', where we are situated. This lower self (call it our ego, 'I' ness) is to be, through conscious practice, raised to the level of the Supreme Self, merged. And when we can do that, the ego is slayed, as I said, 'without the wings of thou'. Then does one realize, I am He, I am He, I am Brahman. You may call it the drop becoming the ocean, or even the ocean becoming the drop. So vast is the drop then that it can accommodate the ocean. That is the real you.

An excellent essay here, about I and thou, ego and I'ness and aloneness, but please be careful. We humans who try to understand such things are walking in a minefield laid by beings who are much older and smarter than we, but not wiser. They do not seek the good of all, but instead they seek to add our power to theirs, as servant to master. Beware!! The concept of "oneness", rejoining with the One, accepting all others as part of the One..... these ideas are being used to destroy our uniqueness, to destroy the excellence that we can achieve if we strive to be better, to be more aware, to be wiser than our fellows. We cannot be "one" with predators, criminals, communists, tyrants, etc. We also cannot be "one" with those who choose to be blind or deaf or apathetic or selfish. We cannot fly with the eagles, if we are lured to gobble with the turkeys!!! And sadly, I think we are being so lured by many unseen forces. I will try to post about this soon.
