Have you ever been to "Casa Bonitas? I know it not a upscale situation....but we always overnight in Denver on the Westside with our tour groups. The pricing is decent, you get a lot of food, and it's enjoyable to deal with crazy employees and their shenanigans.
Especially the diving gorilla.

Practice makes perfect perhaps next summer you could do a few practice backings on a spare piece of ground. I remember trying to back a trailer with a Land Rover. A little crowd watched as I left it skew-whiff and pretended that was how I wanted it to be.
