Re: CCT,
I'm afraid the little fellow does have an eye for the birds. It helps to remember that the little tweeters used to rule the earth, and nearly stamped out the furry ancestors. Then all the ancestors got together and hired an asteroid...

You sure have packed the costumes etc in . Poor little cat thought it would have a nice warm supper. Not a potential bird killer I hope.

Re: Pat,
It really is challenging, to make the details 'happen' with a new medium... and if you start getting sort of hypnotized, a sudden jab with the needle wakes you right up again!

I'm guessing felting can be as addictive as crocheting. Something so
soothing about working 'nothing' into something. BTW I saw a bunch of felted items for sale at a craft booth at the Leclaire Park festival last weekend - cute little critters made of felted balls with ears and tails. And faux fruit.

Re: Corbin Dallas,
There are racks specific to overall style/era--like, medieval/renaissance, ethnic... and type: shirt, vest, jacket... On those racks, the the hanger colors indicate things like ethnic, fantasy, historic, vintage... Some things, like hats, are on shelves as the photos show, but also in see-through plastic bins with specific styles or types, like historic women's, western, uniform hats. Shoes are not yet organized, but I do have a few of historic or dramatic types.
Yeah... a lot...

Sounds like it would be challenging to me. Your costumes looks great. Reminds me that I need to clean my closet out.

Re: Annicita,
This is easy, portable, not even terribly costly to get started, then keep up with. The felting wool costs a couple of dollars an ounce, and that is quite a lot of the stuff! The needles I found for under $10 for 4 of them. I found a starter kit for ~$35. The biggest thing is to get adept at not stabbing yourself.
