Good to hear. Memory foam is tricky. I love it, but... It's like Goldilocks, only more so. Some are too soft, some are too hard, some are just right. Some are/were made from foam that wasn't produced in the US, even if the mattress was produced here; therefore, the standards are not up to our safety regs. That's important to note. I've had toppers for the spare bed that had an odor for a few days until they "aired out." Now we have a hybrid mattress, and for me, that's the best of both worlds. Yes, I remember trying out memory foam mattresses that one nearly couldn't climb out of, and laughing in the embarrassment of nearly being stuck there in the mattress section of Macy's.

Re: Kabu,
It was the biggest duffle bag I've ever seen, and contained my new mattress. It is condensed and rolled until you let it out of the bag... Then it expands to be an actual mattress.

Re: CCT,
Actually, the neighbor is Charlie, and I had just dropped him off at work. But he did drag it upstairs and made the shift with the old mattress.

Re: RPresta,
Ducks are lining up... slightly easier than herding cats.
The bed is puffed! Comfortable until it's time to fight my way out of it. This is why I am skeptical of Memory Foam. But I have 363 days to learn to love it.

I'm experiencing a bit of nebulosity this morning. Great term for it.
I think there's a principle involved in the timing of your delivery - Murphy's law at play. or maybe Robert's Rules of Order. 'if anything can go wrong, it will.'

Well you were lucky they did not leave it with a neighbour. A good job Charlie is around.

Hope the bed puffs up just fine, and that you get your visa all in order.
