Both poems spoke to me in different ways. When I was a child I loved the book Heidi and I loved her and Peter's lunches up on the mountain with the goats. They always had bread and cheese and milk from a nanny. Your first poem reminded me of that.

Clever Mary, clever poem. "Fragments" is an interesting title for your poem. All of life is comprised of fragments, yet for this poem, it is wistful to me.

Now that's a turn on Mary's lamb...
I was at a coffee shop today with my son & daughter, listening to them reminisce about childhood, pranks they'd played, friends they'd known. 50 years later I'm still discovering things they were up to that I had no idea about.
