The years fly on by very quickly. So many people I know were once in their 20s are now in their 40s. I used to think of them as old when I was a kid. Now I look at them as young.

I do too. My grandmother was total care for the last ten years of her life from a stroke. She couldn't even talk. Yet we all loved her so much.

We do tend to slow down with time but as long as we can manage things on our own, though slowly, not dependent on others, I feel is a blessing.

I had to come back and reasure you. I brought a fairly heavy box of things upstairs today and i felt quite unwell for about 15 minutes. That has never happened before and i use those stairs all the time. So maybe it is all the aging process and we have to accept changes and live within them...but i bet i try again. LOL

Oh, I agree with P.D. Brownies are the BEST!
These days, though, it's gluten-free for me, 99% of the time. Sometimes I just have to have a bite... Good looking guys, those offspring of yours. Hope he has a wonderful birthday - and you get to hug Phil at least once...
