I did leave without paying a bill once. The service wasn't just awful but the food was disgusting and we never did get desert. My DIL got absolutely frustrated and flounced out of the restuarant with fussy little hen ...me trying to keep up with her long legs with my little short stumps. Lucky there was a taxi at the entrance and we dived into it. The shock took sometime to fadde and the giggles to hit.

I liked it as a romp without knowing the definitions, and even more

after the "nonsense words" were defined. Reminds me of "Twas brillig and the blithy trobes,"  where the rhythm carries sensibility...

Re: RPresta - thank you!

This is really a clever poem. I knew the Lollards were religious but that was it, so it was great to learn the specifics and meaning of a new word (famulus) which I could not find, since I misspelled it. What a fun poem.

RPresta

A famulus is a person who works for/with a magician.  And, a Lollard is a religious follower of John Wycliffe who takes a vow of poverty.
