No, I didn't. We weren't ordered to, and Maryland was not considered a direct hit state as the hurricane got to where they could somewhat protect where it was going.

Oh, how nice; the sunshine. We saw stars outside last night for the first time in what seems like months. I hope Dad does well with his meniscus repair. My daughter has that. They aren't doing anything. It's hard when one has to take people for surgeries. At least for me.

I didn't think of checking for the dawn and sunrise this morning. I slept slightly longer after a hard night at work kid. However, I felt happy when I saw the bright sun and clearing skies. There were clouds in the east, so maybe I didn't miss the early show.

I think they've found a new way to do hip replacements,
there have been several people at The Center who returned much sooner than the usual 2-month rehab series, and walked without canes or other support. Amazing!
