Those peppers make me want to try growing some here, maybe next season.
This poem reminds me that thoughts and notions cascade through many minds, and can quite suddenly manifest, and eclipse one's own.

Re: Taps
Yes Taps success at last, I started these as seeds in early March and caught the hot weather. They are quite expensive here, so we are freezing
a couple of bucketfuls as they do enhance the texture of the Winter fare ,I don't cook it but my brother makes this mixture of tomatoes and peppers with snips of bacon and probably onion and garlic.
Something like that he thinks likes cooking, so I keep a low profile.

I have tried reading this post three different times and each time was interrupted for a long interval. Finally, fourth try, I got it done without interruption. One good thing about it taking four visits was that each time I got a good look at your beautiful peppers.

Re: Corban
As the weather has been really hot and I started the peppers in early March , I think they will last another couple of weeks. No the sales are only homegrown produce a large proportion of the returns goes to a local Hospice and The Air Ambulance. Archie helps or I could not keep up with it all, his wife makes pickles, chutney, jam. specialty pickled eggs. I keep moaning and doing it. I will post his little stall one day, luckily the council kind of turn a blind eye, but would soon shut it down if were not for psychological reasons.

Re: Pat
Yes I rely on my brother to cut and pack them in the freezer pat.
The touch makes one wonder, all in the mind I suppose.

The peppers looked really good....how much longer is your growing season...do you raise all of the produce...or depend on wholesalers?
Or have I not paid enough attention and am way off base with my questions?

Nice photo of the peppers. They look so solid and waxy, yum...
It's weird when the magic touch no longer sends shivers.
