I remember once in the early 1950s when Arthur Godfrey still had

a radio show, he talked about how pilots talked about the changes in air quality and said that we were getting about 25% less visibility due to air pollution, than we'd had in the late 1890s. It's kind of sad to see so few stars in the night sky, but I'd thought it was due to light pollution from all the street lights in the city around us.

The clear, starry skies as I remember them are probably no more.  But, I still look up when I am outside at night.

There is no part of the world that isn't affected by what happens in the moving airs around the globe.

Yes, our troubles and discomforts don't count for much on a geologic time scale.

We have been getting some haze because of the wildfires. It shows how big of a impact disasters elsewhere impact the world as a whole.

Things are changing Ciel, ice melting ,Global warming? Has it been the same before,who knows. We just happen to be here.
