As a mother who lost a son to cancer after surgery, chemo, pneumonia, I think I would do without it for myself if it were prescribed for me.

it is a terrible remedy and sometimes one wonders if the misery is worth the few more years. ...I don't know. I had to have my breast removed and since the lymph nodes were clear I said no chemo or radiotherapy....that was 24 years ago...

That is very telling. Unfortunately, the chemo lobby is very powerful.
