Re: Kabu
Yes they are like smaller carnations, but carnations need staking usually and these are kind of perpetual flowering. I think I can provide a mail passage for you it is so simple.
Watch your emails tonight or early tomorrow. I'll put this on your blog in case you do not read this reply.

Re: My mother raised pinks and carnations. Those variegated ones you
I think somehow these were once propagated from old English pinks. Of course it is mostly done by cell culture and new varieties pop up from time,
Your Mum had the magic touch , by necessity I expect.
Yes we used to make our bread occasionally but I cannot hack
a lot of the doughy stuff. I know Pat I am using an Irish kind of round loaf with fruit.
It has a name but I cannot think of it offhand .

Re:
Well RP to be honest I just picked a name for it as I thought it was a bit vague. Probably not a good choice. Such is life.

Yes I am afraid they are my favourite, although as one man said to me once. 'They just break your heart trying to grow them.

Re: FS
No it is probably better to be coherent. The problem is one does not usually write poetry for other folk to read, it is probably too embarrassing.

I find a lot of people don't understand poetry. One has to be willing to practice at comprehending it...One often feels a mixture of emotions when it comes to love.

Very good poem. People seem to be split on explanations. Some like to interpret them on their own; others prefer help.

My mother raised pinks and carnations. Those variegated ones you
show in your photo look exactly like the ones she grew. I think she had a green thumb, not to mention a wonderful light touch with pastries and bread. How nice would it be to have some warm home-made bread and real butter on which to spread your lovely plum jam... (Can you tell I've had to go on a diet and lose some weight?)
