Ciel to the rescue. My DIL says to just spray water on the plant itself and of course they being desert plants would need sun poor things. They will thrive for you and in Australia they have become a real priority of the latest Must haves. i suppose for busy people they don't need much attention.

I hope your plants survive. Makes me sad to think of them
on a low, dark shelf, probably being overwatered... Also hope you are well and enjoying some mild sunshine as your wheels get fixed and life gets happily boring.
