Re: Re: TAPS,

That's quite a vision.  At least Subi is dead and don't know anything.  LOL

Re: TAPS,

Now I am visualizing a mob of battered-looking small cars gathering around your old Subaru like vehicular piranhas...

Since my Subaru died and was canibalized I've had all the car-less decisions to make.  Even though son and sis will take care of anything I need or anyplace I need to go, I really, really miss being independent and jumping in the car at a moments notice.  I'm still not certain if I will get another car or not.

Ah, well stated about choices. I hope you get wheels soon. The good thing is that one vehicle will be fixable. It's hard to not have that freedom of vehicle usage. We sold a car several years ago and had only one vehicle until last February! Hadn't planned on it being that long.

Yup, there's a big difference between having the ability to decide

not to get out and about, and the inability to do it. Nice to have a friend who can and will help out.  Sometimes we wish things were simpler, but I don't think we'd really like to go back to the horse & buggy days.
