It is so obvious..... She wants to stay in the Supreme Court for philosophical / political reasons. She wants to stay, so that Trump will not get to pick her replacement. But she is working at a greatly reduced physical and mental capacity, and the strain will catch up to her soon. Despite her optimistic outlook, I predict that her health problems will intervene, and she will be the next Justice that Trump gets to replace.
This will only begin to reverse the death-grip that the liberals have had on our courts for the last 50 years. Not just the Supreme Court, but most of the Federal Courts, and many State Courts. What we are witnessing is a return to wise moderation, not a move to conservative extremism. The liberals have had their way with us for far too long...... and it is coming to an end, long overdue...... Cheers

Being an 80's person myself, I cannot imagine why she would want to continue another five years.
