Depending on the age of your TV....You can get an Amazon FIrestick...that opens up the internet.....If your an Amazon Prime member, you get 90% ofyour app (channels) for free. I have the tv channels that I watch and thats all around 25.
They have a "CBS All Access" APP that has every season of every TV show ever on CBS.
I an currently hung up with NCIS and I'm in the 5th season (there's 15 seasons total) The old Hawaii 5-O and the new Hawaii 5-O.

In the beginning...they forced us to take a huge bundle of channels.....they had to cover the expenses of developing the nationwide setup...but 20-30 years of the continued high prices was more than enough....way more.
You should be able to buy the channels you want and that is all....

I have a regular antenna for my local TV, Amazon firesticks in 4 of my TVs , and Amazon prime provides "APPS" for the news and regular "cable" stations for free!
No DirectTV.....no DISH network.....and saving a bunch of money each month!
Always keep track of the innovations occuring that are outside of the money grubbers.
