We've had a very hot July too - big thunderstorms and wind and a

torrential downpour just before sunset last night, but at least it cooled things a bit. Was thinking of you guys today - rearranging the knick-knacks on top of my bookshelf - the arrangement includes a bust of the Virgin Mary and infant Jesus, a hand-stitched sampler in a frame that says "Never underestimate the power of a woman," and a hand-turned wooden chalice / candle holder that Wiley made & you guys sent me several years ago. Thanks again.

The heat has been suffocating seemingly everywhere. The weather has been something this year.

Strange isn't it we are having the hottest summer for oinks. Hush don't mention I promised a soak. Still time though once the rain starts it will never stop. I have ,I'll count them buckets they were so cheap at £1each all filled with plants but I know find that they need watering at least twice a day. As long as the hose pipe ban is not put into effect ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
