Well things are easily remembered by events. A chap I knew said he got married on the 4th july. He did not know if it was the right thing to do, but he was going back to the front and thought. 'well you know what he thought.' 'How is married life I asked.'

'She lives upstairs and I live downstairs.' he said. We hardly speak if we meet.'

I haven't seen Fireworks since i have been here. I love fireworks, used to go and watch them on New Years Eve in Sydney.

We used to go to our Grandmas in South Dakota on the 4th and blasted off fireworks!

The Fourth of July has always been my favorite holiday...... I don't know if it's because I'm getting older, I have always enjoyed the fireworks kids getting excited with the sparklers, and a general feeling of pride in being an American.  It's not the same anymore, and I hope the problem is with me. A
