You are so inventive we usually say its out of date, how can we get rid of it?

we used to catch blue swimmer crabs where i grew up and then cook them in a pot over a driftwood fire on the beack. boiling them in sea water.

I had no problem eating such a delicious meal but while they died in the water I would go away and sit somewhere and probably cry a little. When I came back what had been a living creature was now food and I had no trouble eating.

Poke is very popular here. And good for you eating healthy and using up everything. Here things go bad so quickly, I've never seen anything like it!

You reminded me that it has been a long time since I looked down into my vegetable bin.  I think I will wait until tomorrow.

Virtuous and deliciously well-fed.

I'm envisioning Embers hanging around the kitchen while the ahi is in the offing.
