Not a good thing that is happening. Poor families. Poor children.

I don't like what is happening to the immigrant childen either,  but this same thing was happening during the 8 years of Obama, with all the unaccompanied children arriving at the border, and the media kept it quiet, because Obama was their darling.  They should have exposed it then, and started working to do something about it.  I hope something can be done about it now.

Re: Re: Corbin_Dallas

I simply was quoting Mr. Tabarrok because I believe he was right in what he said.  I know it won't work here because there are too many people filled with hatred and "Love is of God."

Re:

So...If you don't like a law you should just ignore it?

You don't have a country without the rule of law!

The proper path is if you don't like the law, campaign to change it.

It's not a pastry shop where one can pick and choose.

For myself, I've been thinking of the proper channels they should have taken to enter the United States. However, the precedent might be the period of Reconstruction for the slaves. The illegal immigrants and their children already here need a lot of help. help them get going, staying here.

Yes a sad thing for the little children, what will they grow up to believe in?

When American Parents are arrested for a crime,  they're separated from their children aren't they?  Perhaps you should consider looking at the company's facilities where these kids are being taken care of ?    Here

The pendulum will swing back towards social responsibility and compassion: Every act of cruelty and mean-spiritedness, every lie exposed--the weight shifts back towards the other side. These traumatized children, these shattered families, will need a lot of help to recover anything like normalcy.

It's not the first time our govt has acted against families - I'm thinking

of the internment camps for citizens (CITIZENS) of Japanese descent during WWII, but I'd thought we were better than that now. I feel Hitler's shadow falling across our democracy.
