Taps

I bet you use plenty of sugar. Archie makes jam with them and it sells quickly.

I shall enjoy giving them away, the little devil in me. I would like to say that need not of wasted my youth, but we are all tarred with the same brush.

Re: Ciel

Hi Ciel a poem usually holds sway as as long as one reads it. Gooseberries give me the stomache ache.

Re: overthe rainbow

How often do we make choices that we would steer away from with hindsight. You have learned the hard way, some never learn.

Yes he was right, Corbin but I guess some do not get many good times.

Re:RPRESTA

I don't think you would not like gooseberries unless they were in a pie the birds don't touch them until they are really dead ripe. I know I wish I could write something more exciting, thus the commentary.

Taxes sure are complicated everywhere it seems. I guess it is that way to give the government, accountants and tax lawyers something to do.

A smile can get us through a whole lot.

Never ate one of those berries! I'd probably like them. Isle of Wight sounds nice. And you poem was quite nice, and made one stop to consider Time, and Life, and Smiles. Well done.

Is it not worse to over analyze your situation than to enjoy the ups and downs rather than trying to manipulate the flow?  Joe Love's motto was "Go With the Flow".  The bad times just made the good times that much better!

remembering youth in my case is bitter-sweet, i try not to go there often as it makes me realize that ignorance really is bliss.

Sweet, wistful poem... and psychic balance in diverted gooseberries

I hope you enjoy your purloined gooseberries...

and it's true - youth is wasted on the young.  (or not)
