The thing that bothers me about it all is the use of the schools to indoctrinate the acceptance of the current 117 gender varieties now on the book! I'm gay and I find it insane.

had come to 'every' American household. In those days boys and girls didn't get a new toy (gender specific or otherwise) every time they went to the store, and both had the same responsibilities/chores - carrying in firewood, weeding the garden, feeding the dog, washing dishes, etc. Kids learned 'normal' from peers and what got negative attention from teachers, parents, etc. Life can be so hard for people who fit into norms in this world, it behooves us weirdos to be kinder and gentler with those who struggle with differences or insufficiencies.
