It doesn't make sense to me either. Do they want armed security in schools to come after a shooting? It makes way more sense to have them there before.

I would certainly appreciate scanners in at least three schools in Florida--the one where my DIL is a teacher, the one my ten-year old grandson attends, and the one where my 13 year old granddaughter goes. Of course it would be best if all schools had them.
