Re: Corbin Dallas,
Living over 30 years around Puget Sound, I've traveled around Washington quite a bit, and can recommend the drive around the Olympic Peninsula. The beaches along the north coast are quite different from the ocean side, and I have always liked the one called Beach 2, I think, for its pebbles and wood.

Beautiful Place
Snoqualmie Falls...that's a beautiful stop when we do Pacific NW trips. We always come from Coeur d'Alene up Hwy 2 to Hwy 20 and stop in Winthrop..
Then it's on 20 coming up and over the Cascades N of Seattle. Catch the ferry with out motorcoach and get off at Port Angeles. We spend 3 nights in the lodge at Crescent Lake. I choose not to stay in Seattle, but we spend a day there. The falls is on out loop down to Mt Rainier.
Have you been to La Push on the Coast? OMG, I have never see anyplace with so much beautiful drift wood on a beach.

I used to take that excursion towards Snoqualmie falls from time to time,
whenever I had visitors in Seattle. Thank you for reminding me of that scenic drive.
