The difficulty would, I think, be explaining the relevance nowadays ... although it would help kids understand Big Ben and other iconic clockfaces...

Wow, FSI - now I feel old!!!! I can understand however that children would have trouble reading a traditional clock face if all they've ever known is digital. As Bob Dylan said/sang: 'The times, they are a-changing...'

How long would it take a teacher to educate the class on how to read
an analog clock? I think it took my first grade teacher less than 10 minutes. I skipped kindergarten.

It's amazing just how quickly things have changed. I remember learning about analog time in school.
