Re: TAPS

The same with me. It was the Delaware Water Gap where the mountain splits and the river runs through it. The guy in the same club as me led us off the trail where the hunters with rifles crossed our path. 8 months before the Grease Era, I met Philly. She used to bring announcements for her other club (the other one would be the Discussion Club) into the  school newspaper that was printed in the office on a scanner (I also was a reporter for the tabloid, and would become News Editor of the former). To make a long story short like her, we were supposed to meet her and the tabloid editor there. We couldn't find them. It turned out; we learned that they were, hanging out at the top of the mountain at Sun Pond. We reached it. I guess they either already left or were, hiding. Yes TAPS; this was the kind of thing that I used to put up with with girls. With 20/20 hindsight, that would have really hurt me if I had liked her that way then.

So, against her Joni Mitchell (alright and has done pop standards since) and Christian contemporary slow folksy singer Jamie Owens (She wasn't a fan of my type of music or the country that I was, listening to), there's the mood of Tony Bennett. From The Shadow of Your Smile to I Wanna Be Around (when someone hurts you), I've since seen a real sandpiper (lower yellow legs is one) and find him excellent for romantic mood, kind of private and individual though love.

I don't like heights, inside or out.

Because of you I am listening to Tony Bennett.  He has had some really good sons.  Along with that, I am remembering with with fondness the first time we took our Missouri boys to the ocean along the cliffs of Oregon.  They loved the seagulls flying down and taking food from their hands.  I was never afraid of heights back then.  Now I can't even climb on a stepladder without trembling.
