I think the idea of post-it notes would make for a funny scene in a movie, where one drops his/her line and the other says yes, no, or maybe with a sharpie pen on a 2" square paper.

Whoa! "Abject derision" - that's a great one. Don't think I've ever heard it put quite that way, but it would be very effective! Good one.

opposites attract or so i have heard, but i do know you can't judge a book by the cover  .sometimes we miss opportunities for many different reasons, but if we do take a chance it does work out sometimes.

I always look for little cues (i.e. how her hair is) to try to get a sense of her personality (i.e. particular or not). I do like to think that things have a way of working out.
