My hat's off to you and your family, dear! I got vertigo just watching it. I can't imagine taking kids there, overly protective mom that I am. What a thrill for them and you! Congratulations! I couldn't have done it.

Re: Funny thing, the summer of 1970 my husband and five kids went
You never know who you will run into in the woods. In the Green Mountain forest of Wyoming once we ran into a man who lived down the street from us in K.C.

Re: BC-A
I looked that up on the internet. It is very pretty there. Did it happen to be autumn when you climbed it? I love fall colors.

Funny thing, the summer of 1970 my husband and five kids went
on a camping trip in that very area - from Colorado Springs area down to the Grand Canyon and several other places. Wouldn't it be funny if we'd crossed paths?
