That is so often true, but usually it happens in old age. I took care of my parents for years in their 80's. Now my sons are, more and more, taking care of me.

I could see it happening. So there's a pattern of "turn about is fair play"
between you and your precious boys even then. Loved this, esp. dad taking over the supper chores.
