That is a lot of excitement, them trying to scale something that would be too great for them to climb...I never did try to go up a mountain during my childhood.

TAPS - This is exciting...
Oh, how scary is that? Great idea reading to them along the way, though. However, they did pay very close attention. lol. As my sis and daughter tell me, "Good thing you didn't have boys..." When I saw a pic of Grandsons in Hawaii jumping off of a huge rock into the ocean at age 12, I couldn't believe it! So how did you get them back to camp?

ha ha love it. we may have given ourselves the start of grey hairs but the freedom avaliable to Children not really so long ago was so different to now.
