If is wasn't so wet the weeds love it,but this year 50% of the Sweet Williams have died off the spell olf icy weather that has become unusual did for them. I left the gladiolus in the ground for the third year. We shall have to wait and see. Folk were buying bedding plants at the B&Q store . They were all outside a bit crazy this year the ground is wet and cold. A good way to test suitability is to lay the back of your hand on the soil if it feels warm plants will prosper. Don't forget to wash your hand afterwards or wear thin plastic gloves when testing.

A beautiful yard you have, dear. Yes, Spring is having a hard time this year. Sweet and pretty picture, too!

I love the photo and the idea of a bright sunny garden where the

birds can flirt and a weary gardner can sip iced tea in the shade, and just breathe it in.

All the flowers, all the colors
All in a perfect row
First the seeds
And then the water
Keeping a little space
Daisies here, roses there
Each one has their place......
