It's just that we have so much that either needs to be used or wasted. Just before Ribcage got hurt, he set out a pound of hamburger to thaw. So finally this morning I put it in the crockpot with some onions, celery, sweet peppers, green chili peppers, a little cabbage, spices and I don't know what all. Now I can sit back and relax until supper. Got a whole stack of corn tortillas, a bowl of refried beans, and some good sauce all sitting there waiting, waiting, waiting.... No one has much of an appetite right now. LOL

It may be time to get pizza - or fried chicken - or some other
tasty bits delivered - after all the years of cooking, serving and cleanup, maybe a little splurge is well-deserved. I see ads for a delivery service where they pick up and deliver take-out for several restaurants in this area - and I'm pretty sure Kansas City is - as the song says, up to date.
